Former Strathmore Leos team manager Fahad Adil has joined Mwamba Rugby Club in the same capacity effective immediately.
Fahad, who also doubles up as Samurai International liason and team manager, arrives at Railway Club after five years with Leos.
Speaking to MwambaRugby.com, Fahad said he was excited to join Kulabu and he looked forward to a successful spell with the club. “It wasn’t hard a decision to make since I have close ties with this club through various players and staff. I want to help Mwamba win trophies and reclaim it’s glory,” he said.
He also revealed that he will be working closely with the management in nurturing and mentoring young players both on and off the pitch.”We want to ensure that Mwamba players are successful both on and off the pitch. We shall have mentorship programme to help in guiding young players. Our other focus is to ensure that our players maintain high level of discipline, the only pathway to success,” he added.
Fahad has cultivated a close working relationship with Mwamba Rugby Club through Samurai International. Mwamba is a partner club with Samurai.
