Felix Otieno In Shape For Thika Clash

Felix Otieno has been drafted in the Mwamba RFC squad that will take on Thika RFC in a Kenya Cup match to be played at Thika Stadium on Saturday 27 February 2016.

Otieno, fondly referred to as Top Dog, comes in place of injured Brad Owako and will partner Marcus Mureithi in midfield. Mureithi replaces Dennis Ombachi who is away with Kenya Sevens team in World Rugby Sevens Series.

“I had slight bruises on my ribs during the Blak Blad game but I have fully recovered and ready to take on Thika,” Felix  Otieno told MwambaRugby.Com.

Jeremy Griffin has been recalled to the starting XV at openside in for the injured Dan Sikuta. Humphrey Kayange is also away on national duty and his place at blindside si taken by Clyde Mulando.

Veterans Tito Oduk and Lavin Asego have also made the squad but will start on the bench alongside Anthony Karanja, Jeremy Chimwani and Eliakim Kichoi.

Mwamba RFC are currently placed 7th on the Kenya Cup log and a win over the weekend will see the Black Shirts firm their play off chances.
