KENYA CUP TEAM NEWS: Shebesh to lead Mwamba Ladies in historical encounter
Janet Okello will captain Mwamba Ladies in the first ever Women Kenya Cup final against Impala Saracens at Impala Club on Saturday afternoon.
The fleet-footed utility will run out in the number 13 jersey alongside hard hitting Naomi Jelagat in the midfield. Exciting half-back combination of Diana Omosso and Sarah Oluche will be joined by Edith Muchele, Terry Ayesa and Uganda international Samiya Ayikoru in the back three.
In the forwards, Natasha Emali and Jane Chanya will prop on either side of ever dependable Stacey Atieno while Maureen Chebet and Steph Waithera will pair up in the second row. Pauline Misango will join the battling pair of Naomi Amuguni and Everlyne Kalemera in the back row.
On the finishers rota, Mercy Kasova, Carolyne Chepchumba and Vivianne Andeso will be the front row replacements while Kelsey Monah and Linet Akinyi will be the other forward subs. Teresa Nganga and Uganda international Yvonne Najjuma complete the matchday 23.
The team is coached by Baabu Odindi assisted by Martin Oyugi with Jeff Onyango handling the strenth and conditioning. Steph Otieno is the team and Levyce Kituyi is the physio.
