Kulabu confident as they head to KCB Lion’s Den

Mwamba Rugby exuded confidence after their final preparations on Thursday for the crucial Kenya Cup match against KCB RFC at Lions Den, Ruaraka on Saturday March 25, 2017.

Kulabu will be going for nothing short of a victory against the Bankers in match that will determine if they qualify for this season’s playoffs set for early April. Mwamba are currently  sixth on the log with 46 points, two ahead of  seventh placed Nakuru RFC. Nakuru will be hosting basement club Mean Machine RFC.

The coaches are confident that their charges will give a good account themselves in this encounter and proceed to the knock out stages.

This match was to be played in December but was postponed after the club lost Victor Wayodi on December 10, 2016 as he played against Nakuru RFC.

In Eric Shirley Shield, Mwamba II will go into this match already assured of a play off berth. They’ll be hoping to do a double on KCB II, whose only loss was inflicted by the Black Shirts.

The squad for tomorrow will be announced later today.
