Mwamba Rugby Club has launched Kulabu Pride campaign that will see fans support the club by proudly purchasing the club’s replicas, wear and share pictures on various social media platforms using #KulabuPride.
The campaign coincides with launch of the replica kits and leisure wear. The club has officially launched the sale of special ICONIX™ test jersey made from the highest quality Kohino 4DX fabric in order to commemorate the club’s 40-year anniversary. The shirt, created by sports manufacturer Samurai Sportswear, is on sale to fans for KShs 3,390. Alongside the official replica shirt is retailing at KSh5,890, Kulabu have also launched leisure polos (both gents and ladies versions) which will be selling at Ksh 3,390.
Kulabu Pride campaign and represents the sense of belonging that supporters have around the world to the club and players. The fans play a major role in the performance of the team and the campaign, and the sense of identity it portrays, brings to life the connection no matter where supporters are in the world. #KulabuPride is also a celebration of our heritage and pedigree as we enter our 40th year
Fans are encouraged to purchase and don the new replicas and take pictures of themselves in the kit. They should post these pictures on various social media platforms with hashtag #KulabuPride. Surprise prizes will be awarded to the most innovative posts.
Speaking about the new kit, Collins Injera said: “We are really pleased with the way it looks. I think the fans are really going to like it. I like the design with the, it’s something different and I think it’s going to look really good,” he said.
On Kulabu Pride campaign, the club’s President Alvas Onguru said: “It’s always a great pleasure to see the Mwamba community, our fans and their families turning up at Kulabu on Saturday afternoons and cheering on our teams. Now we want them to show solidarity with the club and players by showing up in our club colours. This is our club. This is their club.”
The kits will also feature the logos of Mwamba RFC’s main sponsors Stanbic Bank, Modern Coast and Hallmark Kenya.
The merchandise will be on sale during Kabeberi 7s but fans can preorder the kits now. Pre-order details will be provided later in the day.
