Mwamba RFC U-18, Pebbles, Win Bowl At KRU U-18 7s

Mwamba RFC U-18, popularly known as Pebbles, defeated Ofafa Jericho 21-7 to lift Bowl titke at the inaugural K.R.U U-18 Sevens tournament held at the RFUEA Grounds on Sunday 16 August 2015.

The Pebbles had earlier in the day beaten Machakos 7-0 in the Bowl quarters before thrashing Western Bulls 19-0 in the semis. They then produced a fine display of rugby by dispatching Ofafa Jericho 12-7 in the finals.

On Day One, Pebbles had started the day with 12-5 win over Bungoma and they followed with a 17-5 win over Ofafa Jericho. The youngsters then lost 5-14 to Homeboyz RFC. The permutations meant that Pebbles missed out on Main Cup quarterfinal berth on point difference.

The Pebbles was coached by Gerald Ogutu and assited by Felix Omuria.
