Mwamba Rugby announces kit partnership with Tessen Sports
Mwamba Rugby Club can reveal its new iconic home kit for 2022/23 as it announces a three-year partnership with Tessen Sports, the official Samurai Rugby apparel supplier.
Staying true to form with the classic black shirts with faded grey hoops, the kit is another masterpiece from the award-winning apparel maker. The shorts and the playing stockings are solid black.
Of the occasion, Jason Braganza, the club chairman said: “I am very happy to reconnect with Tessen Sportswear and Samurai Rugby on Mwamba’s new playing kit. Our partnership dates back many years as a club and even further through the connection with Mwamba players and staff. This new partnership is exciting, the new kit design deeply rooted in the Club’s history of being the first indigenous rugby club in Kenya. We look forward to a strong partnership with Tessen and Samurai.”
Terry Sands from Tessen Sports commented on latest association: “I am extremely pleased and proud to have rekindled firstly our relationship and secondly our partnership with one of Kenya’s top independent rugby clubs. The grass was maybe not greener for Mwamba during their time away but normal service has resumed.”
The club will officially launch the home kit this coming Saturday 4 February 2023 during the Kenya Cup match against Kabras Sugar at Impala Club grounds. The away and the ladies kits will be launched at a later date.
Tessen Sports and Mwamba Rugby are working on producing a wide range of merchandise that will be available to the club’s membership and fans at a soon to be announced date.
