Mwamba trio invited to Kenya Under 20 training squad

Mwamba RFC’s trio of Kevin Kerore, Brian Obwaya and Elvin Okoth have been called up by  Kenya Under 20 head coach Paul Odera in preparation for this year’s Africa Under 20 championship.

The front row pair of Kerore and Obwaya have been in fine form and have been used by  head coach Kevin Wambua in this year’s Kenya Cup. Fly half Elvin Okoth has featured heavily in Eric Shirley Shield matches.

The provisional 41 man squad is  preparing for the 2017 Africa U20 Championship set for 17th to 23rd April in Madagascar.
