Owako, Ronnie Omondi back for Christie 7s
Brad Owako and Ronnie Omondi have been included in the Mwamba Rugby Club squad set for Christie 7s hosted by Kenya Harlequin slated for 14-15th October at RFUEA Grounds.
Head coach Kevin Wambua had made changes to the squad that went to Eldoret for Sepetuka 7s. Mwamba lost 14-19 to Mean Machine in Bowl semis.
Among the changes, Kenya Sevens speedster Collins Injera will make his season debut alongside veteran Louis Kisia. Michael Agevi has recovered from a shoulder injury suffered in Mombasa in August and will join Humphrey Kayange, George Ochieng and Stephen Sikuta on the weekend’s hunt.
Sepetuka 7s’ top try scorer Alex Aturo, Matt Wanjia, Greg Odhiambo and Freddie Nyachio complete the coach’s roster for the weekend.
