Stanbic Mwamba shifts focus to Enterprise Cup
Stanbic Mwamba will this Saturday take on Resolution Impala Saracens in an Enterprise Cup quarterfinal match at Impala Club.
Kulabu qualified for the quarterfinals after seeing off a stubborn Mean Machine 33-15 in the pre-quarter a month ago.
Coach Kevin Wambua has rejigged his line up ahead of this tie as he recalls Deus Mudaki who had been sidelined with a knock in place of Jonah Mbari in the front row. He will join Eugene Sudi and Salton Muturi in the front row.
George Omolla and Stephen Sikuta will pair up in the locks while a new look back row will be on duty. Though not entirely new, Edwin Machanje, Louis Kisia will for the first time make a back row that will be rich in experience, pace and power.
In the backline, Eugene Nzioka and Tony Omondi are the day’s half backs while Felix Otieno makes a come back to the starting XV in his preferred number 12 jersey with Michael Agevi playing outside of him. Horace Otieno, Joel Inzuga and Greg Odhiambo complete the back line.
Billy Odhiambo, Tony Owuor and Martin Oyugi will miss this tie with slight knocks.
