TEAM NEWS: Ruhiu, Tony Omondi back for KCB clash
Former captain Patrick Ruhiu and Kenya Sevens star Tony Omondi have been named in the Mwamba RFC squad ready to take on KCB RFC in a rescheduled Kenya Cup clash set for RFUEA Grounds on Saturday afternoon.
Ruhiu comes in at inside centre pushing Collins Injera to the outside of the midfield as Joel Inzuga moves to the blind wing. Brian Kivasia, who has been starting on the blind wing, shifts to the open wing as Omondi pulls on the number 15 jumper.
The other changes see George Omolla return to the locks in place of Paul Opiyo who moves back to loosehead prop in place of Jonah Mbari. Ronnie Omondi, who has been starting in the back three, shifts to scrum-half as Martin Oyugi who will sit out of this clash.
Versatile Yahya Hussein slots in at number 8 in place of unavailable Tony Owuor.
On the finishers roll, Brian Kahura, Eugene Sudi, Jonah Mbari, returning Stephen Wangondu and Ian Wamalwa are forwards replacement with Chrispin Onyango, Sabala Tendwa and Apollo Owino completing the day’s squad.
