TEAM NEWS: Strong squad named for Impala test

Stanbic Mwamba head coach Kevin Wambua on Thursday named the squad that will take on Impala Saracens in a Kenya Cup match set for Railway Club on Saturday afternoon.

Salaton Muturi returns to the side in place of injured Brian Kahura at hooker and he will be propped by Eugene Sudi and Jonah Mbari on either side.

Andrew Chogo and George Omolla slot in the locks with experienced trio of Tony Owuor (blindside), Stephen Sikuta (openside) and Edwin Machanje completing the back row.

Nifty Eugene Nzioka starts at scrum-half partnering with Brian Mwangi at standoff. Patrick Ruhiu and Michael Agevi team up to do battle in the midfield.

Michael Okello gets his first run as a winger this season when he [ulls on number 14 jumper while Alex Aturo and ever-impressive Ronnie Omondi complete the day’s back three.

On the bench, Thomas Soteri, Alfred Yuko and Deus Mudaki are the front finishers with Paul Wahome and Chris Asira covering for the rest of the forwards.
