Thika Tie Opens A Busy Month For Mwamba RFC

Mwamba RFC will open 2016 with a home game against bottom of the log Thika RFC set for Saturday afternoon at Nairobi Railway Club.

Mwamba are now placed eighth on the Kenya Cup league table with 12 points after five matches, 11 behind early leaders Kenya Harlequins. The home club will be seeking their first bonus point win of the season.

On January 16th, the Black Shirts will travel to Bungoma for a game against another league struggler, Bungoma Sharks. This match will also be relatively easy on paper and Kulabu will seek to pile up points that will come in handy later.

Back in Nairobi, the next fixture is a tricky duel against old foe KCB RFC at Nairobi Railway Club. This match will be key to enhancing both teams play offs chances.

The last match of the month is a short trip to the University of Nairobi, Kabete Grounds where they will play Mean Machine RFC.
