Tony Owuor to debut for Stanbic Mwamba at Floodies
Stanbic Mwamba have named four debutantes to face KCB in their 2018 Impala Floodlit quarterfinal match on Saturday evening.
The four include Kenya international Tony Owuor, backrow Wycliffe Muema, Humphrey Clearus and centre Sabala Tendwa.
Tony will start at the base of thes crum flanked on either side by Collins Injera and veteran Mark Okwaro. Michael Agevi will also play a competitive XV match after spending slightly a year out with an injured shoulder. He will pull on the number 10 jumper in this exciting tie.
Up front, head coach Kevin Wambua has named James Yuko, Kevin Kerore and Deus Mudaki on the front row. They will be backed up by Chris Hulk Asira and Gideon Mbithi in the second row. Injera and Okwaro will be the wing forwards.
Martin Oyugi will partner with Agevi in the half backs as Patrick Ruhiu and Joel Zing Inzuga will be out to conquer the midfield battle. Mike Okello and Joe Machine Otieno are the day’s finishers with Brian Kivasia completing the back three.
Brian Kahura, Brian Otieno and a returning Churchill Kanakana take their place on the bench. Others are Wycliff Muema, Yahya Hussein, Charles Chege and Tendwa.
