We’re Ready for Epic Battle Against KCB RFC
Lavin Asego has been named in the Mwamba RFC squad that will take on reigning Kenya Cup champions KCB RFC on Saturday afternoon at 4.00pm at Nairobi Railway Club.
Lavin Asego replaces Shaban Ahmed who will start off the match on the bench alongside veterans Kevin Wambua and Louis Kisia.
Skipper Salaton Muturi is back in the squad after missing the 77-9 demolition of Bungoma Sharks last weekend. The pair of Eugene Sudi and Mike Shibadu will start partner Muturi in the front and will be joined in the forwards by Brian “Gentle G” Otieno and Churchill Kanakana.
Clyde Mulando get his first start of the season at blindside flanker alongside reliable Dan Sikuta at openside and evergreen Tito Oduk at number eight.
Victor Wayodi has recovered from ankle injury he sustained against Impala RFC during preseason and will be the starting scrumhalf.
