Humphrey Kayange elected to NOCK board

Mwamba RFC’s talisman Humphrey Kayange has been elected unopposed as athletes representative to National Olympics Comittee of Kenya (NOCK) board.

The rugby test and international sevens veteran was elected alongside star athlete Hellen Obiri in a list released on Wednesday morning by NOCK. The Olympics body is preparing for elections  slated to take place on May 5, 2017 at Panari Hotel, Nairobi.

Kenya Rugby Union director of development John Kilonzo is vying for a position of secretary general where he will face off with Andrew Mudibo of Table Tennis and FK Paul of Handball.

In the same list, celebrated athlete Paul Tergat is also elected unopposed as the board’s chairman.
