#KulabuAwards: Daniel Taabu and Sarah Oluche named Stanbic Mwamba’s best
Daniel Taabu and Sarah Oluche were named Stanbic Mwamba’s Male and Female Player of The Year respectively in a glitz award ceremony held at Railway Club on Saturday evening.
Taabu emerged the best ahead of Paul Wahome and Ronnie Omondi as voted by the club’s fans, technical bench and fellow players. Oluche has been in imperious form for Mwamba Ladies ending the season with a gold medal as she made her debut for Kenya Lionesses at Africa Sevens in Gaborone, Botswana.
Taabu scooped two more awards as he was named top try scorer and top points scorer. Paul Wahome was named Players Player of The Year while Martin Oyugi emerged Young Player of The Year. George Omolla and Steph Wanjera were named Most Promising players for male and ladies respectively.
Anthony Karanja emerged Clubman of The Year while Maureen Magoya was named Fan of The Year. Railway Club barman Sammy Njehia was given the Distinguished Club Service award.
The event was preceded by Wazee Vijana match and was proudly sponsored by Stanbic Bank.
